Destination NGO is a dedicated mental health service centre focused on supporting children and adults with special psychological needs. Through compassionate care, structured therapy, and a nurturing environment, we help those in the autistic spectrum, schizophrenia, ADHD and other neurodivergent personalities regain confidence and independence. Our holistic approach integrates counselling, education, and life skills training to ensure long-term well-being.
Founded by Dr. Rupa Hazarika, a committed mental health professional, Destination NGO stands as a beacon of hope for vulnerable children. Dr. Hazarika’s vision is to create a safe space where every child receives the support they need to heal and thrive. Together, we empower young minds for a brighter future. Destination (A real home for persons/ children with special needs), as a charitable society was materialised on 1st June 2005, at Bhagaduttapur, Kahilipara in Guwahati, Assam where at present there are one hundred and twenty challenged inhabitants in our three shelter homes under residential rehabilitation program.
Destination also works for creating awareness and advocacy on mental health, protection of child rights, women empowerment, skill development, research, environment, etc.
This is a non-political and non-communal Organisation.
